2.I told my credit union I recently filed Chapter 7, told them the dates and they said id have to have MINIMUM 1 year of good, re-established credit POST Chapter 7 to even be considered for a loan. I asked them what I could do in the meantime to start rebuilding my credit, and they suggested I take out a $500 share secured loan thru them, to pay off in 6 months, which is direct debited every month, and then they said at the end of the first 6 months,take out another one, dont miss any payments, then at the conclusion of the 2nd note being payed off in full, then we could talk. So basically nothing from them for a year.........
